    He is a graduate of the Faculty of Forestry at SGGW. In 2010, he obtained a doctoral degree in forest sciences, defending the thesis “Social perception of hunting”. For 18 years he worked in the Provincial Board, and later in the District Board of the Polish Hunting Association in Warsaw, dealing mainly with the training of candidates for hunters and selectors of deer game. Currently, he works in the General Directorate of State Forests in the Team for Hunting. The issues that are of particular interest to him are hunting damage, the principles of management and management of big game, and the promotion of game in society. He has the qualifications of an instructor and hunting shooting judge.

    His passion is hunting, he loves forests in all its forms, from city reserves to wilderness. He believes that for both the hunter and the hunter there is only good or very good weather, so it does not matter whether it is raining or the sun is shining, it is always worth going to the forest to arrange your thoughts, catch a distance and gain energy.

    He likes all forms of active recreation: jogging, cycling, skiing, roller skates.

    He is interested in photography, healthy eating, and quite privately, he is the father of Princess Majka and the protagonist Błażej. He appreciates a good mood.

  • Kamila Bąkowicz

    Kamila BąkowiczPsychologist, trainer. A graduate of the Faculty of Psychology at the University of Warsaw, specialization: Economic Psychology and Supporting Personality Development. She completed postgraduate studies in cognitive development at the Psychoeducation Laboratory. He conducts a number of trainings in the field of motivation, communication and soft skills, among others for DELL Polska.

    Kamila became a mother three times and thanks to this she knows everything about how to make your life easier by using appropriate communication techniques. During her classes you will learn what effective social communication is and how to make our public appearances not only interesting, pleasant, but also a useful form of spending time, both for you and your audience.

    A graduate of the Faculty of Forestry and Pedagogical College of the University of Life Sciences in Poznań. She received a doctorate in humanities from the Faculty of Educational Studies of the Adam Mickiewicz University. A long-time employee of the Forest Culture Center in Gołuchów, where he manages the education and information department. Member of the Polish Forest Society and the Association of Forest Educators. Author of many publications in the field of extracurricular forest education of the society.

  • Artur Dawidziuk

    Artur DawidziukArtur Dawidziuk A graduate of the Faculty of Forestry at the Warsaw University of Life Sciences. He also completed post-graduate studies at the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn in the field of computer science and the use of computers in business, as well as post-graduate studies at the Warsaw School of Economics in the field of entrepreneurial organization management and in the field of Public Relations and strategic communication in companies.

    He started his professional career in 2000. in the Office of Forest Management and Geodesy, then he worked in the Ostrów Mazowiecka Forest Inspectorate in the Forest Service. March 16, 2009 was appointed to the position of the Forest Inspectorate of the Celestynów Forest District.

    Artur Dawidziuk is married and has two sons. The hobbies of the forester are hunting and nature observation.

  • Grażyna Głuch

    Grażyna GłuchA graduate of the Faculty of Horticulture – Department of Landscape Architecture, Warsaw University of Life Sciences and Postgraduate Studies in Forest Management in Planed Environmental Management (Faculty of Forestry, Warsaw University of Life Sciences). Employee of the Forest Research Institute as the main specialist in the Department of Scientific Information and Promotion.

    He conducts educational classes for children and adolescents at the Forest Education Chamber of the Forest Research Institute, lectures and workshops for forest teachers and educators, postgraduate students, and Universities of the Third Age. Co-author of “Guidelines for recreational forest management”, author of numerous scenarios, workbooks, articles and interactive teaching aids.

    Designer of gardens, green areas, wild plants collection, interactive educational paths and health paths such as “Movement in the world of animals”. He co-creates the Science Festival at IBL and the Earth Day celebrations, SGGW days. He is interested in adventure playgrounds, outdoor education as well as painting, ceramics and nature photography.

  • Marcin Gołębiowski

    In 2013, he obtained the title of doctor of forest sciences at the Faculty of Forestry of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences. He also completed postgraduate studies at the University of Economics in Krakow in the field of research project management and their commercialization. He started his professional career in 1999. in Norway, on a private forestry farm (Groterod w Prestfoss). From 2005, he worked at the Forest Research Institute, where in 2006 became the head of the research project at the Department of Forest Use. In 2010, carried out a partnership project in the field of logging technology in the Republic of Buryatia in Russia, financed by the University of Hohenheim. Since 2011 he worked in the General Directorate of the State Forests as the Project Manager “Fire in the forest and nature”, the largest campaign in the history of the State Forests “Aware of the dangers”. In 2015, became the Deputy Director for Projects of State Forests at the Center for Coordination of Environmental Projects. Currently, he works as the Manager of the Development and Innovation Team, where he is responsible for the preparation and implementation of strategic projects of the State Forests concerning forest carbon farms and the valuation of forest real estate.

    Hobbies – traveling to still wild and very interesting places, modern technologies in intelligent machines and an excavator.

  • Emily Janeczko

    Dr hab. Emilia JaneczkoLandscape architect, graduate of the Faculty of Horticulture, Division of Landscape Architecture in Warsaw and the Daily Doctoral Study at the Faculty of Forestry of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences. PhD in forestry sciences in the field of forestry. In 2012, she was awarded the degree of habilitated doctor. He works as an assistant professor at the Department of Forest Use at the Faculty of Forestry of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences.

    Author or co-author of numerous scientific publications and promoter of over 100 diploma theses (master’s, engineering and bachelor’s) related to tourism and recreation, spatial development and landscape valorization. Her research interests concern: recreational usefulness of forests and valuable natural areas, tourist and recreational development of forests and shaping the forest landscape.

  • Magdalena Kuś

    DSCF0441A graduate of the Faculty of Forestry at the University of Agriculture in Krakow and postgraduate studies in herbal science at the University of Rzeszów. From childhood, fascinated by the nature of the Carpathians, mountain guide associated with the Student Circle of Beskid Guides in Rzeszów. She managed educational teams in the Magura and Tatra National Park. She completed an international certified heritage interpretation course and has both a guide and a coaching license in this field. National Coordinator of Interpret Europe in Poland. In 2018, she fulfilled her dreams of education by establishing her own Pracownia Z Barwinkiem ( www.zbarwinkiem.pl ) whose mission is to accompany people in appreciating the world.
    She is the author of numerous educational programs, extraordinary teaching aids and texts on nature education. It carries out numerous original training courses for teachers and educators in the field of field science education, while being a practitioner in this field. He works more and more on the basis of the heritage interpretation method – he conducts walks, prepares panels, writes texts and trains guides and educators in this field. He likes to listen and hear people.
  • Tomasz Mokrzycki

    TMDr hab. Tomasz Mokrzycki is an employee of the Forestry Department of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences. He has been dealing with insects since the end of primary school. They have always fascinated him with a huge variety of colors, shapes, and often unusual biology. He had the opportunity to watch them in Europe, Africa and Asia. Apart from insects causing damage to forests, Doctor Mokrzycki is mainly interested in beetles – their biology, protection and systematics. His passion is also macrophotography and entomological expeditions.

  • Aleksander Myjak

    Aleksander MyjakHe was born on January 11, 1985 in Warsaw. In 2009, he graduated with honors from the Graphics Department of the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts in the Book Design Studio of prof. Maciej Buszewicz. Annex in the Painting Studio of prof. Adam Styka. Since 2009, he has been working at the Faculty of Graphics of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw as an assistant. In 2010, he also graduated from the Pedagogical Study at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. Since 2013, he has been teaching drawing at the University of Information Technology and Management. He is a laureate of monthly prizes in the Warsaw Graphics Competition: 3rd Prize in May 2007 and the Marshal of the Mazowieckie Voivodeship in June 2008.

  • Michal Orzechowski

    A graduate of the Faculty of Forestry at the Warsaw University of Life Sciences. In 2002 he obtained the title of doctor of forest sciences. A long-time employee of the Department of Forest Management, Geomatics and Forest Economics, Department of Forest Management, Faculty of Forestry of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences. He conducts classes with students on forest management, typology of forest habitats, basics of forest management for students of non-forest faculties and others. Co-organizer of student exchanges (Russia, Czech Republic). Scientific interests are related to the natural basis of forest management, the integration of various forest classification systems (plant communities, habitat types, Natura 2000 natural habitats) and non-invasive methods of assessing the health and quality of trees. He conducts research in protected facilities (including Natoliński Forest). He cooperates with the Office of Forest Management and Forest Geodesy and provides expert services in the field of tree condition assessment (e.g. in rope parks).

    Since 2016, at the Faculty of Forestry, he has been the Vice-Dean for didactics at the faculty of Spatial Management.

  • Wojciech Ożga

    In 1985, he graduated from the Faculty of Biology and Earth Sciences at the M. Copernicus University in Toruń, obtaining a master’s degree in geography. Initially, a teacher at a general secondary school, and from 1987 an assistant at the Laboratory of Forest Climatology at the Faculty of Forestry of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences. After obtaining the doctoral degree in forestry in 1995 as an assistant professor and then a senior lecturer.

    In 2003, he was appointed by the Rector of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences to the position of the head of the Inter-faculty Study of Tourism and Recreation. He was the organizer of the Tourism and Recreation program at the Warsaw University of Life Sciences, and he served as the head of studies for two terms. He conducts didactic classes in the field of Tourist Geography, Sightseeing and Organization of tourism for children and schoolchildren. As part of his scientific activities, he is interested in forest climatology, assessment of tourism development conditions, with particular emphasis on the importance of sightseeing values.

  • Anna Pikus

    Anna PikusA graduate of the Faculty of Forestry of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences, an employee of the General Directorate of State Forests, co-founder of the Association of Forest Educators, member of the European subgroup Forest Pedagogics Network. Creates and conducts workshops for teachers at the Copernicus Science Center. Student of intellectually disabled pedagogy at the Faculty of the Academy of Special Education in Warsaw. Co-author of publications related to the broadly understood nature and forest education. It works for education for sustainable development, which is based primarily on empathy towards people and nature and responsibility.

  • Przemysław Płarańka

    Przemysław Płoskonka fotoPrzemysław Płarańka, PhD – specialist in the field of outdoor, qualified tourism and outdoor education. A graduate of the Faculty of Physical Education at the Academy of Physical Education in Warsaw, he currently works as an assistant professor at the Department of Active Tourist and Recreational Forms of the AWF Warsaw. In 2014 obtained a PhD degree in physical culture sciences, the title of the dissertation: “Social conditions of participation in survival as a form of tourist and recreational activity”. Author of research and scientific publications in the field of survival and outdoor education. Experienced organizer and manager of qualified tourism events (hiking, canoeing) and adventure trips (North Africa, Eastern Europe). Author of the survival sports instructor training programs. Co-founder and vice president of the Polish Survival School Association. In 2016, decorated with the Bronze Cross of Merit for the development of education.

  • Ewa Referowska-Chodak

    Assistant professor at the Department of Forest Protection and Ecology at the Faculty of Forestry of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences. He conducts research in the field of forest education, broadly understood nature protection (biodiversity), as well as the development of forest management certification systems in the context of biodiversity protection.

    It carries out classes related to nature protection, ecological and forest education in the fields of study “Forestry”, “Tourism and recreation”, “Environmental protection”, “Biology” (SGGW). He is the promoter of about 80 diploma theses (engineering and master’s). Member of the Polish Forest Society and member of the board of PEFC Poland.

  • Artur Rutkowski

    A graduate of the Faculty of Forestry at the Warsaw University of Life Sciences and postgraduate studies in public relations at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. After an internship in the industry sector “Głos Lasu”, he worked as a would-be scientist at the Forest Research Institute and, as an aspiring journalist – in private press. In 1999 started working at the Information Center of the State Forests, where from 2011 he is the editor-in-chief of the forestry press. The editorial office under his management conducts various communication activities: he publishes three press titles (“Głos Lasu”, “Echa Leśne”, “Biuletyn Informacyjny Lasów Państwowych”), creates websites (lasy.gov.pl, BIP LP, czaswlas.pl, erys .pl), runs activities in social media (Facebook, Instagram) and deals with the newsletter for employees and the intranet of the State Forests. Four completed editorial projects in 2013 and 2015 were awarded in the prestigious Columns of the Year competition. Privately, he is a lover of (passive) football and (active) folk music.

    During the classes, you will learn, among other things, how the State Forests and their employees are perceived, what tools to choose in communication with various audiences, how to construct messages to be effective and what to do when we fail in our activities.

  • Michael Roman

    Michał Roman fotoMichał Roman holds a postdoctoral degree in economic sciences (specialization: economics and organization of tourism). He works as an assistant professor at the Department of Tourism, Social Communication and Consulting, Institute of Economics and Finance, Warsaw University of Life Sciences. He has published achievements in the number of 140 scientific studies – both Polish and foreign. He is the author or co-author of 7 books and 133 scientific articles. He is also the scientific editor of 6 monographs. He participated in research internships (including Switzerland, Germany, Ukraine, Kazakhstan). He participated with a paper in numerous scientific conferences (including domestic and foreign). For his scientific and organizational achievements, he was awarded 5 awards in the field of “Agroeconomics and Agritourism”. He is a co-owner of an agritourism farm. Scientific interests include the scope of economics and organization of tourism:

    • conditions for the development of agritourism and its impact on socio-economic changes in communes and rural areas,
    • tourism clusters,
    • innovations in the development of tourism,
    • passenger transport in tourism.
  • Paul Staniszewski

    A graduate of the Faculty of Forestry at the Warsaw University of Life Sciences. He works at the Department of Forest Utilization at the Faculty of Forestry of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences. From the beginning of his professional career, his interests concerned issues related to the use of forest resources; Initially, his research and teaching activities were mainly related to the study of wood raw material. After obtaining a doctoral degree, he broadened the scope of his interests, focusing on the problems of non-timber forest use. His research studies concern the analysis of selected research problems in the field of secondary / non-wood use of forests in Poland and in the world, as well as the use and protection of non-wood forest resources. He is mainly interested in the issues of managing the resources of the undergrowth: fungi, fruit-bearing and medicinal plants.

  • Magdalena Stępińska

    Magda sTęA graduate of the Faculty of Forestry of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences, postgraduate studies in public procurement and environmental protection.

    She gained her professional experience in the field, first at the Forest Management and Geodesy Office, and then at the Dojlidy and Celestynów Forest Divisions and the Regional Directorate of State Forests in Białystok. For two years he has been working at the Information Center of the State Forests, where he coordinates the activities of the State Forests on social media.

    In the State Forests, she has tried almost everything – from a stocking course to a hunting whistleblower course – which she uses in her daily activities related to telling people from outside the State Forests about the forest and the work of a forester.

    In his current position, he deals with, inter alia, creating a strategy for the presence of State Forests in social media and ongoing coordination of activities of all forest FB administrators. From December 2015 runs the main profile of the State Forests, which after just three months gained 10 thousand. fans, and is currently approaching 25 thousand. fans.

    Privately, he is passionate about photography, botany and cynology. He cannot imagine life without forest and forestry, just like the world without the Internet. Fortunately, she found a way to connect it.

  • Elżbieta Wąsowicz-Zaborek

    04Born in Szczecin, a graduate of the University of Szczecin in the field of Management and Marketing. Doctor of Economics – obtained the title at the University of Economics in Poznań (doctoral dissertation entitled “Determinants of the Quality of Tourist Product”). He has extensive experience as an author, manager and implementer of projects financed by European Union funds. Author and co-author of numerous publications and studies, including: “Diagnosis of the state of tourism development in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship 2007”, “Framework Program for Tourism Development in the Parsęta River Basin – 2004”, the guide “How to develop local tourism – 2004”, “Code of Good Practices of the management system and promotion of tourism in Poland, “Marketing Strategy of Poland in the tourism sector 2008-2015”. For over 10 years she had the opportunity to work at universities as a research and didactic worker. He focuses his research interests mainly on the issues of economics and marketing of services, in particular tourist services, as well as territorial development and promotion. In the years 2000-2007, she actively participated in the creation of regional and local structures for the promotion and management of tourism in Poland, mainly in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship. In 2008-2015, Vice-President of the Polish Tourist Organization, responsible mainly for the development of the Polish Tourist Information System, Regional Cooperation and the implementation of promotional activities both at home and abroad.

    Privately, she is married and mother of 11-year-old Karolina. In her free time, she photographs, draws and blogs about interesting places ready to welcome small and large tourists.

  • Małgorzata Woźnicka

    A graduate of the Faculty of Forestry at the Warsaw University of Life Sciences. Since 1997, he has been working at the Department of Forest Utilization at the Faculty of Forestry of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences. She is the author or co-author of numerous scientific publications and the promoter of many diploma theses. Her research interests concern: ergonomics and work safety in forestry, providing urban and forest space for people with various dysfunctions, the possibility of various forms of tourism and recreation by disabled people, and social functions of forests.

  • Mariusz Wrona

    Mariusz WronaA graduate of the Faculty of Forestry at the Warsaw University of Life Sciences. Completed Postgraduate Studies in Pedagogical Preparation of Teachers at the Warsaw University of Life Sciences. For ten years he has been a volunteer and lecturer at the Active Rehabilitation Foundation. He takes part in camps for children and adolescents in wheelchairs. Educator at the Nature and Forest Education Center of Municipal Forests – Warsaw.

  • Kinga Zinowiec-Cieplik

    Landscape architect, graduate of the Architecture Department of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences (1991) and École Natinale Supérieure du Paysage de Versailles (1995), for many years associated with the Katera of Landscape Art of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences, since 2013. Assistant professor at the Department of Architectural and Urban Design at the Faculty of Architecture of the Warsaw University of Technology, designer of public areas, incl. co-author (with Małgorzata Milecka) of the Znicza Park, (with Piotr Hardecki) of the Balaton Park, (with Katarzyna Jakubowska) of the Henrykowski Park in Warsaw.

  • Tomasz Zygmont

    Filmmaker, photographer, researcher-documentary filmmaker, forester with first education. A graduate of the Faculty of Forestry at the Warsaw University of Life Sciences, Academy of Film and Television (specializing in film directing), ZPAF Photography College and postgraduate studies: “Assessment and Valuation of Natural Resources” in Warsaw and “Academy of Heritage” in Krakow. He worked in the editorial office of the “Las Polski” magazine, the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management, at the ZG LOP office, and at the Forest Research Institute. He collaborated, among others with CILP, ORWLP, PWRiL, Forest publishing house, magazines “Głos Lasu” and “Przyroda Polska”.

    He is the author of several documentaries, dozens of photo exhibitions (individual and collective). Precursor of oral history research in the environment of foresters and naturalists, creator of the Archive of the Spoken Forest History ( www.lasy-i-ludzie.pl ). Member of creative (ZPAF, ZAPA), historical (PTHM, ESEH) and forest (PTL) associations.

  • Anna Żornaczuk-Łuba

    AZ-L fotoA graduate of the Faculty of Forestry at the Warsaw University of Life Sciences. She completed full-time doctoral studies at the Faculty of Forestry of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences, and completed her doctoral thesis on nature and forest education in the State Forests under the supervision of prof. Dr. Hab. Andrzej Grzywacz. A graduate of the Foreign Policy Study at the Polish Institute of International Affairs.

    From 2005 works at the Ministry of the Environment, initially in the area of international cooperation in forestry. From September 2012 he is deputy director, currently in the Department of Forestry. In his professional work he deals with matters related to, inter alia, supervision of the Minister of the State Forests National Forest Holding, Forest Research Institute, Forest Seed Office. Coordinator of the Polish presidency of the Council of the European Union in the field of forestry. In the years 2012-2014, a member of the Office of the Forest and Forest Industry Committee of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE Committee on Forests and the Forest Industry). He actively represents Poland in matters relating to forests and forestry at the forum of the United Nations, the European Union and Forest Europe.
