Road infrastructure in forests

The aim of the studies is to systematize and expand knowledge and acquire skills in the field of broadly understood issues of managing the communication infrastructure of internal roads. In the scope of studies, it is planned to present the legal issues of managing internal roads and organizing investment and maintenance works related to roads. The scope of the discussed issues:
-Planning spatial systems of forest road networks.
-Road infrastructure – legal basis.
-Elements of road documentation.
-The road manager as a works investor.
-Road infrastructure management.
-Technologies and materials in road engineering.

Recruitment conditions

Detailed conditions of recruitment for postgraduate studies "Road infrastructure in forests"

1. A candidate for postgraduate studies may be a person with a diploma of completion of at least the first degree (i.e. engineering or bachelor's) or higher (master's) studies.
2. Admission to postgraduate studies takes place after meeting the enrollment conditions listed below and paying the fee for the first semester of studies.
3. A candidate for postgraduate studies is obliged to submit the following documents to the Faculty running postgraduate studies:
1. Application
2. Personal questionnaire
3. A transcript or a copy of the diploma of completion of studies entitling to undertake education at postgraduate studies, certified by the university. In the case of graduating from a university abroad, the candidate submits the original of the diploma and its translation into Polish confirmed by authorized institutions, as well as a document confirming the recognition of the diploma or a certificate of exemption from the recognition procedure

5. The fee for the first semester should be made within 14 days of receiving the information about the candidate's admission to studies by e-mail.
6. Candidates are classified in the order of applications based on complete documents.
7. The minimum number of candidates at which the studies will be launched - 20 people
8. Maximum number of places: - 30 people.

Duration of studies
The studies will be carried out in two semesters from 1 October 2020 to 30 August 2021. 4 reunions per semester (25 hours / reunion) will be held from Friday to Sunday.
Place: Warsaw, LZD Rogów (possibility of organizing field exercises).
